IBSA and ATP are proud to support National Skills Week this year which will take place from 26th August to 1st September. This week-long campaign will carry the theme ‘Succeed your Way’ and aims to raise the status of practical and vocational learning in Australia.
National Skills Week highlights career pathways in the vocational education and training sector and the talent, diversity, and skills needed to contribute to a successful, modern economy. This week also provides an opportunity to showcase the value and potential of apprentices and trainees across Australia to their employers and the wider community.
IBSA’s vision is to shape workforce skills for the future and is committed to ensuring Australian industries and their employees have the capabilities they need to succeed.
Sharon Robertson, CEO of IBSA commented, “National Skills Week is a fantastic opportunity to get people excited about skills, and celebrate the tremendous contribution of skilled workers to our country”.
Through its work IBSA supports the learner journey from training through to employment. The support of National Skills Week enables IBSA to recognise skills excellence across Australia and acknowledge the incredible talent of young people in our workforce.
