Marvin, Sarah and Bill (pictured above, L-R) may be based in Melbourne, but you’ll see them all over Australia!

On any given day you might find Marvin in Alice Springs, Sarah in Bundaberg and Bill in Devonport. The team love to travel, and are happy to meet with you, no matter where you call home!

Kristina, our Account Support Officer is based in Newcastle, but we make long-distance work for us!

We interviewed the team to give you a chance to get to know them a little better…

Bill Triantafyllou, Australian Training ProductsBill Triantafyllou

What is your position and what do you do?
Business Development Officer (NSW/ACT/TAS). I advise and provide learning resource solutions to clients for the vocational education sector.

What do you like most about your job?
Meeting and talking with interesting and varied clients to see what they do with regards to vocational education training.

Where are you located?
Melbourne – cultural and sporting capital (in my heart and mind)

What’s your favourite food?
Any Indian dish – great Gluten-Free options.

Favourite place in the world?
Having a Greek background it has to be Athens. Climbing up to the Acropolis and looking out over the Athens landscape – it doesn’t get any better than that. Oh, and catching up with the relatives too.

What do you do for fun?
Anything that involves time with my three boys – such as movies, sporting events (GO HAWKS), restaurants, travel.

If you could study any of the courses ATP supplies, what would it be and why?
TAE. I want to see what all the fuss is about!

What is your position and what do you do?
I’m the newest Business Development Officer (WA & QLD) with the ATP team, so I’m currently touching base with my clients to identify any gaps/problems to be solved and start planning for the future growth of their businesses.

What do you like most about your job?
Problem-solving. Being able to tailor a business solution to meet an individual’s needs and have them walk away smiling.

What’s your favourite food?
Anything sweet, no hesitation. Currently obsessed with #dessertforbreakfast

Favourite place in the world?
In the sunshine, no matter where in the world I am.

What do you do for fun?
I play Roller Derby! So I roller-skate (a lot!) –at training, near the beach or at the skate park!

If you could study any of the courses ATP supplies, what would it be and why?
Cert IV TAE- I was a casual tutor for Primary/Secondary Maths and Science and there is nothing better than being able to foster the ability and desire to learn in someone who thinks that they ‘just can’t do it’ or that they ‘are not smart enough’.

Marvin Diop

Marvin Diop, Australian Training Products

What is your position and what do you do?
Business Development Officer (SA, NT, Melbourne). My role is to assist RTOs and TAFEs by evaluating their current performance and finding ways to help them reach their full potential.

What do you like most about your job?
Being able to build relationships with clients and assist in providing quality resources and ongoing support.

What’s your favourite food?
I don’t really have one favourite food but, If I had to choose It would be Mexican.

Favourite place in the world?
Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to visit this part of the world before but, I would love to visit New Orleans as I find the rich culture of blues and the fusion of old-meets-new world fascinating.

What do you do for fun?
I love to cook, watch sports (boxing and basketball in particular) and spending time with family and friends.

If you could study any of the courses ATP supplies, what would it be and why?
The Diploma of Leadership & Management. The reason for this is I enjoy learning about business and entrepreneurship as I’m always looking for ways to become a better communicator and professional.

What is your position and what do you do?
My role at ATP is the Accounts Support Officer. My team looks after quoting, invoicing, fulfilment of orders and customer service.

What do you like most about your job?
I love the ATP workplace culture and you can’t beat the view from our Newcastle office.

Where are you located?
Newcastle, born and bred. Just over a year ago I moved a bit further out West, my family thinks the 30-minute trip needs a packed lunch.

What’s your favourite food?
It would have to be my Grandmothers’ meatballs.

Favourite place in the world?
My parents are from Serbia and as a family, we would make frequent trips to visit my grandparents in Serbia and I have been fortunate enough to experience much of Europe and Asia but I can’t go past the beautiful Boat Harbour in Port Stephens.

What do you do for fun?
I have an 11-month-old Doberman named Dotti and every spare moment I have I am keeping her entertained. Dotti loves to help me with the gardening by jumping on all my plants which I spend hours maintaining!

If you could study any of the courses ATP supplies, what would it be and why?
Probably a Patisserie course so I could improve my very poor dessert-making skills.
