Australian Training Products had an amazing time at the Velg Training 2018 National VET Conference in Adelaide last week. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who stopped by and visited us in the Exhibition Hall, and also a huge thank you to the team at Velg for another successful NVC!

Our key highlights

Meeting everyone who attended the conference, engaging in quality conversations about the VET Industry, and the future of education. We also enjoyed getting onto the dance floor with everyone on the first night, and letting our hair down!

Attending Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash’s keynote speech on the VET sector, her first to the sector as the Minister for Small and Family Business, Skills and Vocational Education.

Hearing her insights into the importance of the VET Sector on Australian society, mainly small and family businesses was fascinating, and it’s also interesting to note her statement that VET is one of Australia’s five key industries for growth in the next three decades. We will be keeping a close eye on this progress!

Sitting in on Michael McQueen’s fascinating motivational speech, where he discussed the future, including new job roles, self-driving cars, and ‘teaching for tomorrow’ was an incredible experience and we hope everyone who attended the Conference made the time to see him.

Demonstrating our new Immersive Video Experience to all who attended: this was a fantastic opportunity for us to display the new technology that we’re working on. The aim of this new project is to provide an accessible, cost-effective and engaging way to deliver learning differently! We’re currently in the planning phases for this project, and we will keep you updated on our progress as we go! It’s an exciting space to be playing in, and we were glad to hear such positive feedback at Velg!
